The use of the Charity Commission in this case wasn’t to help with organising or improving practices, but rather as a tool for imprisonment—an unfair punishment, especially when compared to others who were not sentenced in the same way despite far more serious allegations.

This is a critical moment for the Sikh community. The documentary offers SYUK the opportunity to tell their side of the story, and as a community, we must amplify their message. If we allow their voices to be silenced, we are accepting a dangerous reality where standing up for justice can be punished. The time to stand with SYUK is now.
